Tesla will briefly shut down its automotive manufacturing plant in Fremont, California, beginning on Monday, March 23rd, after days of back-and-forth with the native authorities about whether or not the corporate was exempt from a latest shelter-in-place order. The corporate may even droop most operations at its photo voltaic panel manufacturing facility in Buffalo, New York.

Tesla says it’s going to maintain some “primary operations” up and working, like work on its charging infrastructure. The corporate’s Gigafactory in Nevada will proceed as regular, and Tesla will maintain making car deliveries.
